DAUBER
Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 10, 2026
Dauber is operated by Objects of E LLC ("we" or "us"). This policy explains what information Dauber collects, how it's used, and who it's shared with. If anything here is unclear, contact us using the details at the bottom of this page.
What we collect
- Account information: your email address, and either a securely hashed password or, if you sign in with Google, the basic profile info Google shares with us (your email and name).
- Card photos: when you photograph a bingo card, the image is sent to our server and then to Anthropic's Claude AI to read the numbers on it. We do not permanently store your photos; they're processed and discarded.
- Usage data: we log the date and time of each scan, tied to your account, so we can enforce plan limits (like free-tier scan caps).
- Game data: the cards, patterns, and numbers you enter during a session exist only in your browser and are not saved on our servers once you close the app.
How we use it
- To operate your account and let you log back in
- To read your bingo cards from a photo
- To enforce free-plan usage limits and, if you subscribe, to manage your paid plan
- To fix bugs and understand how the app is used at a general level
We do not sell your information. We don't use it for advertising measurement unless you accept the cookie described below.
Who we share it with
- Anthropic (Claude API): processes your card photos to extract the numbers on them.
- Google: if you choose to sign in with Google, Google verifies your identity for us.
- Hostinger: our hosting provider, which stores our database and runs our servers.
- Stripe (once payments are enabled): processes subscription payments. We never see or store your full card number.
- Meta Platforms, Inc. (only if you accept the cookie described below): receives a record that you visited the app and whether you signed up or subscribed, so we can measure whether our ads are working.
We don't share your data with anyone else, and we don't sell it to advertisers or data brokers.
How we store your login
When you log in, your browser stores a small login token using its built-in local storage feature (not a tracking cookie). This is what keeps you logged in between visits. Clearing your browser's site data or logging out removes it.
Cookies
If you accept, we set a cookie that remembers your choice for a year. Accepting also loads the Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Pixel, which lets Meta set its own cookies on your device and tells us, in aggregate, whether people who saw our ads went on to sign up or subscribe. Meta's use of that information is governed by its own privacy policy, not ours.
If you decline, none of that loads, and no advertising cookie is set. Either way, the choice doesn't affect anything else about using Dauber.
Your choices
- You can delete your account at any time by contacting us. We'll remove your account record and usage history.
- You can stop using Google sign-in and switch to email/password, or vice versa, by contacting us.
Children's privacy
Dauber is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under that age.
Gambling and local law
Dauber is a card-tracking tool. It doesn't process bets, wagers, or prize payouts of any kind. If you use it at a venue involving real-money bingo, it's your responsibility to make sure that's permitted under your local laws.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
